Gamcore Appication no loading games

Hi everyone,

I have a big issue with the Gamcore App : when i try to load a game (i tried with HTML and Ren'py), none can load.

When i try for the Ren'py, it's only loading without the pop-up saying "Loading for x secs" or this kind of message (i don't remember the exact message) before saying "Error: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected Token (see Javascript console for details)".
For the HTML, it still a black/grey screen, no matter how long i wait.

I don't know how to open javascript error and, by already have the app message for these game, i'm not sure it works.

I have all my saved games on the app (and not on the website) and it'll be a pain in the ass if i must restart each to reach again where's i'd stop.

While my issue is on the app, i didn't think cleaning my browser's cookies and this kind of stuff would works.

If it could help, i tried with numerous HTML and Ren'py games, i always have the corresponding issue (the javascript bug for the Ren'py games, the black/grey screen for the HTML games).

i try to find some tips but, in the forum, i don't see any post about the app games.

I hope someone had any solution or tips, it would be nice.

Once again, it's only for the app (but as said earlier, it'll be boring if i must reach my progress by restart through the website), if you have solutions for the website, it wouldn't help me.

Notes : 1) i tried auto or manual restart for my pc, the issue still remain.
2) english insn't my mother tongue, please be nice if i make some language mistakes

Please make a short video using your phone or screen recorder and upload it to YouTube privately so we can understand better what went wrong.

I take a photo of the Renpy's error message, i'll see how to join you. For the video, while nothing happens for the HTML games, how long i need to record ?

It look like i sucessfully send you the screen message, as i said in my previous mail, no matter what's the Ren'py game, it happens with all of these.

Edit : i call it "Application" but i don't know waht is the "official" name, i would talk about the file who can be downloaded in the site to have access of the games without opening any browser on pc.

We are working on a solution for that bug "Error: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected Token (see Javascript console for details)".

Meanwhile you can use different browsers (chrome, firefox, Opera) for different favourite games in order to keep saves safe.

Another solution is to export/import saves between different game sessions here:

Ok, thanks a lot.

I'll try to change the browser but, while i mainly use the Gamcore Windows browser, i don't understand how it could change anything (i play on the Windows Browser, i use the website only to look at the updates and/or new games).

I'll take a look at the saves import/export system (i never use it).

Using another browser don't change anything.

By making some tests, i notice a small thing : when i try to load one of the bugged Ren'py games, the loading bar progress don't appear (see picture bellow).

Up to now, i don't see any change on the Gamcore browser, i hope you'll able to fix it (i still have the option to play on the website but it'll be very boring while i'd progress quite far in some games on the Gamcore browser, on the site, i must have to restart to reach the same point).

Don't keep switching between browser tabs while the game is downloading. Just wait for it to finish downloading. It can take a while, depending on how powerful your computer is.

I think we don't understand each other, let's me summarize

- I usually launch the gamcore browser to play
- i visit the website only to see the new games and/or the last update
- i never has both open
- i know a bar of loading progression appears on the screen when the game's launch
- since few days now an error message appears when i try to launch some games with the gamcore windows browser (see my 1st picture)
- the last picture i'd send you was taken on the WEBSITE (NOT on the WINDOWS BROWSER) only to show you what it must happens when it works in both)
- while, with my recent issues i notice i have an ERROR MESSAGE and i DON'T HAVE this bar of loading progression (last picture), i'd tink both could be linked (while i HADN'T THE MESSAGE ERROR and the BAR PROGRESSION APPEARS as usual IN THE WEBSITE, where the games launch CORRECTLY).

It crearly isn't obvious for everyone even with pictures sent...

We previously wrote to you about the error in the first screenshot, which is related to an issue with our Gamcore browser. We are working to resolve it. Therefore, if you have any problems with the game, we recommend using another browser until the problem is fixed.

Sorry for yelling at you in my last message while you're working on the issues, you don't deserve it.

Nevertheless, i don't understand something i find quite paradoxal. In theory your windows browser's content is the same as the online one. So why some games have the issue on one but not on the other? It's not the same digital "language"/format/way of programming ? I.e, both the pictures i'd sent you are the same game (i don't like this but it's not the matter) but one is the windows browser version (with the issue) while the other is the online/website version (which run as currently as every time).


Could you have an idea of how long do you need for fixing the issue or it could be various ?

Yeah, it's totally different, because it's a completely custom-made browser.
Sorry, we can't give you an exact date, because it will take some time.
