forget if i included it, but The Call of Darkness got screwed up too. It look like the second chapter (arc 2) overwrit the original on this site. So the page for The call of darkness actually loads up the game 'the call of darkness arc 2'. And the original/first 'the call of darkness' is now gone. And there is no page for arc 2 either. - I think its been screwed up like this for maybe 6 months? now...

All older versions of the game can be found below the game description, in the section called "Other Versions". You can select a different part/version of the game from that list.

The original The Call of Darkness has not been removed, it is available there as a separate version.

yea, but its not a 'version' of the game or an update to the game. 'The call of darkness' and 'the call of darkness: arc 2' are two separate games. It is a continuation of the story, yes. But programming wise, they are two separate games. And should both have there own page on here. If you read the comments on the page you will see a lot of ppl complaining about this. Most saying the same thing i said about it being overwritten. You would be doing everyone a favor to have 'the call of darkness' on one page, and 'the call of darkness arch 2' on another.

Not sure whats up with the save files on this game. You can see in that video. Something with the format is suddenly all messed up. - It appears that they saves still work. I was able to load up a few without issue. Tho im worried about future saves not working given that there is at least some kind of issue.

Thanks for the report. I'll pass it on, but I can't guarantee whether The Call of Darkness and The Call of Darkness: Arc 2 will be separated into different pages in the future.

Regarding Intertwined, save imports can sometimes behave inconsistently between versions, even if the process is done correctly. Hopefully this will be improved in a future update.

Do you have/keep a list of games that are or appear to be dead? Is there a tag or such on each of those games page?
I have a lot of games i wonder if they are still active or dead. Its annoying just sitting and waiting.. weeks, months, years on some. Tho after a year, i assume its dead. But having a notation on the games page would be nice. - Sadly, the 'last updated' date is not reliable. Many times i see that date change to recent and there is nothing new. Some times ill see 10-15 games at once all suddenly have the same new last updated date and none of them with new content. And im doubting they ALL suddenly had bug fixes or such all at once. Either way, its unreliable for telling if a game is actively been worked on or dead.

Im playing through that update on intertwined now. Worth noting there is a LOOOOT off errors in this content. Every few slids is another error. So far, iv been able to 'ignore' my way passed all of them. But the sheer amount is quite annoying.

I'll mention the idea to the developer and see what they think.

The main issue is that we don't have the resources to constantly verify the status of so many games. If we added a "dead" tag, we'd likely end up with lots of comments saying a game is abandoned while the tag hasn't been updated yet.

For now, the best place to check a game's status is usually its F95 thread.
