single again; is finally loading up again, and i can import saves again. But it has a constant error message in the top center overlay. 'error: invalidstateerror: a mutation operation was attempted on a database that did not allow mutation. (see javascript console for details)'.

After a minute it started giving another overlay error message. Multiple times. its showing 9x one after another/below each other. 'warning: write error: the current transaction exceeded its quota limitations'

edit: ok, lot more then 9x. They just stack until they take over the screen.

edit2: cant make new saves. They disappear if you leave the page or refresh or anything. So essentially, you still cant play this story.

The save export appears to be causing an error in this version

its causing an error period. Lust theory season 1 is long done. They are on season 3 or 4 now. There is no waiting until an update and just hoping it sorts itself out.

World of wonders needs completely redone. Looks like you need to redo the whole thing. First off, what you have up now does not work. You cant play it all all. It doesnt even a start button to start the game. But that is because a good while back the game was changed while working on bugs. What used to all be under one title of 'world of wonders' is now broken up. Currently its 'world of wonders part 1' and a completely separate game/download of 'world of wonders part 2'. So the old versions no longer work at all. So what is currently hosted on this site needs removed, and have part 1 put up in its place. And then have part 2 as a separate game.

Your page 'FreshWomen' (freshwomen season 1) still has 'freshwomen season two' on it instead of the first part.
Meanwhile there is no page for freshwomen season 2 at all. Which is where the copy of season 2 should be.

Probably why i dont have my old saves for this game. I likely couldnt get them even back then. No point in trying to get back to the bug that made it unplayable if i cant export the saves and will lose everything yet again.

this site recently made the mistake of overwriting wartribe academy with the (separate) second game in that storyline, war tribe alliances. After I pointed that out, and some time, it looks like the page for wartribe academy is finally back to the actual wartribe academy game. However, it has been reverted to an older version of the game instead of its final version. So please now update Wartribe academy to its final version. - Then make a separate page for wartribe alliances.

went to check if A house on the rift has been fixed. But now it wont import saves either. Site says it hasnt been updated in almsot a year. So not sure why it wont import now.

sohpie a girl form the zone will not load up now on firefox. Not sure why. It did load up on edge tho which showed its still bugged in the same spot.

This one is almost hallarious now... world of wonders. IF i can get it to load up,, 50/50 there.. Not only is every single save file corrupted. But the game itself has no start button on the main screen. lol
You can however load up a corrupted file, ignore, and the game restarts itself. However, when i saved a few slides in to test it, and then loaded it up, you get a ingame message 'WARNING: you are trying to load a save of part 1 but you are not currently running part 1 of the game.' - I have no idea wtf that is talking about. You might need to redown/upload that one.
I tried this game on another site and it seems to work fine.

Artimis, not loading on firefox. But i got it to load up on edge. Unfortunatly tho it freezes up as soon as the main menu shows up. Some other ppl mentioned it in the comments as well. One person mentioned there might be a patch for it. Im not positive on that tho.

Freshwomen i still the wrong game. Freshwomen (origional; season 1) loads up as FW season 2. Season two need to be put on its own page and the original one needs reverted back to the original season 1 game. (Atleast the page for season 3 is correct.)

Thanks for the report. We checked Companion of Darkness Season Two, and you're right, the issue is present. Hopefully it will be fixed in a future update.

Its listed as posted in feb of 2025. And the comments of that time show the exact same issue form the start. So its been unplayable for 18 months now.. This is not a 'future update' issue.

On another note, have ANY of the games that iv listed actually been fixed? So far the only one i found working was neiphilim. And after your last update, that one is not working again.

edit: wartribe academy is no longer loading up. Judging by the title, it looks like it was reversed back to the correct game. However it says v1.9.6 and thats not the last update. 2.0.3 is. So that needs fixed again.

companion of darkness season two seems to be unplayable. When you try to start a new game it says you should go play CoD chap 1-9 first. Thus the game wont start. - importing save from season 1 (c1-9) doesnt help. Still the same message. And you cant load a save from s1 into s2 since its a different game. O i see no way to actually start this game at all. Several other ppl mention this issue in the comments there as well.

Wartribe acadamey and wartribe alliances are two different games. On this site; They took WTalliances and completely overwrote wtAcadamey. There is no Wt acadamey there any more. All the listings on 'other versions' are all for wt alliances. There is no wt acadamey there. There is no place where you can access and play Wt acadamey. Its been completely overwrote on this site.

From what i can see, wartribe acadamey is the first chapter or part 1. wartribe alliances is the second. From the way it starts, it looks like its a fully separate game, just continuing the story. HOWEVER.. it looks likes this site just uploaded part 2 right overtop of part 1. So part 1/acadamey is gone. And its only part 2/alliances that is on the page for acadamey.

i have no idea what this one is about. On 'My New Family [Epilogue]' the export is not working all of a sudden. Been reading through that one for a while now. Its long. Never had an issue. But now of a sudden, it will not export saves. It either does nothing (that i can visually see) or i briefly see a message that pops up saying 'error opening savegames.zip'

artimes and sophie are both not loading up on firefox or chrome. But i got them to load up on microsoft edge. However artimes freezes up and goes black right on the main screen. There are several comments on the page about this happening. And the impassible glitch on the computer screen (in the game) of shopie is still there. It has not been fixed.

Not sure whats up with this. The correct chapter of the game at least loads up now. But when i tried the file transfer from c1 to c2 the other day, is simply did not work.
But i went to try again today, and i went to the first chapter to load up my save for the transfer and now those saves wont import at all.

Do you have/keep a list of games that are or appear to be dead? Is there a tag or such on each of those games page?
I have a lot of games i wonder if they are still active or dead. Its annoying just sitting and waiting.. weeks, months, years on some. Tho after a year, i assume its dead. But having a notation on the games page would be nice. - Sadly, the 'last updated' date is not reliable. Many times i see that date change to recent and there is nothing new. Some times ill see 10-15 games at once all suddenly have the same new last updated date and none of them with new content. And im doubting they ALL suddenly had bug fixes or such all at once. Either way, its unreliable for telling if a game is actively been worked on or dead.

Regarding Intertwined, save imports can sometimes behave inconsistently between versions, even if the process is done correctly. Hopefully this will be improved in a future update.

Im playing through that update on intertwined now. Worth noting there is a LOOOOT off errors in this content. Every few slids is another error. So far, iv been able to 'ignore' my way passed all of them. But the sheer amount is quite annoying.

yea, but its not a 'version' of the game or an update to the game. 'The call of darkness' and 'the call of darkness: arc 2' are two separate games. It is a continuation of the story, yes. But programming wise, they are two separate games. And should both have there own page on here. If you read the comments on the page you will see a lot of ppl complaining about this. Most saying the same thing i said about it being overwritten. You would be doing everyone a favor to have 'the call of darkness' on one page, and 'the call of darkness arch 2' on another.

Not sure whats up with the save files on this game. You can see in that video. Something with the format is suddenly all messed up. - It appears that they saves still work. I was able to load up a few without issue. Tho im worried about future saves not working given that there is at least some kind of issue.

forget if i included it, but The Call of Darkness got screwed up too. It look like the second chapter (arc 2) overwrit the original on this site. Try uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, it might solve the problem.

didnt make a difference

last night, for the first night in a wee or more, it was working normally. But tonight its back to looking like the op pic.

Not sure whats going on. But pages on this site have been showing up like this for the last week or so. Also, while the game portion itself goes through the initial 'loading' phase, after that is always nothing. It just stops. Nothing is playable. Just the black screen.

Just to make it more odd, this error occurs on my laptops firefox. But its loading up on microsoft edge normally. - suggesting it was a firefox issue.
But I tried another computer just to see, and it worked fine on firefox as well.

I can accept that maybe an issue was with this laptop, but i havnt a clue what it could be. Nothings changed, and iv been here a while now.

a way to no what was update would be nice. My list of incomplete games on here is long. Its very tiresome goign through every single one to manually check if they have any new content or not.

this game has been broken for quite a while now. Theres a scene where the mc uses a computer to contact another char through chat. But when you do that, the game goes into an error that can not be ignored or bypassed. Basically killing the game.

im not sure what im supposed to do there?
it mentions using .txt files to import but there are no txt files when you use export saves.

That aside, when using the normal import feature on a game it operates normally, visually speaking. Even get the pop up 'import successful' like it normally does. (And export still works.) I could be wrong but it feels more like a compatibility issue or perhaps its not finding the specific save files.
And its odd that its happening to many different games all at once. (Add projekt passion s3 to that list.)

On 'tribulations of a mage' , where saves wernt importing, someone posted the following

The save format changed between 0.46 and 0.47 so importing old saves does not work. If you want to fix your saves: * Export the saves from an old version * Unzip the .zip * Move all the files into a folder named "TribulationsofaMage" * Zip up the new TribulationsofaMage folder * Import that zip file into 0.47 or above

That actually worked. I have no idea how or why, but it worked. And i was able to import and continue the story. Could something similar be happening with more/other games?

Is there an issue with importing saves now? Iv had several game that i came back to, to see if they had been updated, and my saves were gone. I always export my saves when im done. So i imported the saves for the games but they seem to not be working.

Note: someone in the comments of tribulations of a mage figured out a way to get around it for that specific game. But thats only one game.

actually, it looks like its a different problem then i thought. Tho one that might easier for you guys to fix. It looks like Lust Academy season 2 page actually has season 4 on it instead of season 2. So its the wrong game on that page. It needs changed over to the right one.

That explains why it mentioned important season 3 save to it (since its season 4). And the patch notes read for season 4. And a few other ppl mentioned it was season 4 in the comments.

So hopefully you can get that changed over to the actual season 2 part of the game. Then hopefully we can all continue it.

close.. it looks likes its on ep 15 now. But all the save files were gone. And the export of them i made at the end of ep 14 do not work. I import them. The game screens says 'save imported successfully'. But the saves dont show up. Even if you refresh the page, they are still gone.
There is a comment in the replies on that game page form someone else saying the same thing as well.

i was inclined to agree with your agreeing with me. But then i through a slight wrench into my thought.

My laptop: The game (and thus the browser tab) seems to freeze up if i select 'continue' or 'load' from the main screen. - (This happens on two different browsers as well.)

NOTE: It freeze up when i click the 'load option' just to go to the saves. So its before i actually select a specific save.
Note 2: I was playing this game for several days consecutively before the day this issue happened. The gamcore page for this game says it was last updated 2-3 months ago. If that is accurate, then there shouldnt have been a change. So i have no idea....

PC 1: I tried the game on a pc and every time i tried to load the game, it wouldnt load and i got this message. Every time.

Pc2: After two comps had two different results (tho both leading to being unable to play) i found a third pc to test it on. And for some reason the game seemed to work on that one. No error message. I honestly have no idea what exactly the issue is... but im having an issue.
I was playing 'shards of her' for the last week. Everything seemed to be going fine. Then one night i go to the page its on, try to load up my save game, and it semi freezes up.

'Semi' meaning that the tab that is open becomes unresponsive. I get the bar that 'something is slowing down the web page. Do you want to stop it?' Of course if you click stop, then the game part shuts down. If you dont, it stays unresponsive.  You cant do anything else on that tab. Cant leave the page or anything either. You must close the tab to proceed. Its very odd...

I dont know why that suddenly started. I tried it on two different browsers. It did the same thing on both. I tried loading it up on a different computer just to see, but the game wouldnt load anything at all. So it couldnt even get as far as i do on this pc.

Sadly the feature to transfer the save/choices from 1st chapter to 2ns does not seem to work at all. But i dont think thats anything this site can do about. I assume thats on the creatures.

Then there is another issue somewhere.
When i load up that game on this site it says ep 14. It says 14 on the main page when you load up. And it says 14 on the 'about' spot you screen shotted. And there is no new content from when i finished ep14 a while back.

Very much makes its sound like its a game being updated. Reaching the end of the playable content could leave ppl thinking its over and waiting on updates. But thats the end of that game. Its actually Projekt Passion [season 1]. And that part looks finished. There is a separate game listing for Projekt passion [season 2].
I would recommend changing the name/title on the webpage over to Projekt: passion - season 1. That way ppl wont mistake this.

Another oddity.. similar to the last one..

Some games, certain saves always disappear. Why?

'On My Way Home' has had this happen a few times. 'Somewhere I belong' it happens quite often. Ill be playing, make some saves near the end of the version. But every time i come back to check if the game was updated, those saves are gone. And i have to go back to a previous save and redo a portion of the game. But even if i make new saves again, they are still gone next time. Just disappeared. But only those specific few save files. The previous ones are still there. And the game usually hasnt been updated during this.

Actually, i cant be a whole lot more specific. Its so random. It might happen with a number of different games. But it can happen with one game, then a bit later, it doesnt happen any more. And vice vcera.

This time i was playing STWA: Unbroken. The last two save files are always corrupted after closing browser. I have to load up a previous save. play it again, make new saves, every single time. But if i save a new file and then load it back up then it works fine. But as soon as the browser closes and i reopen, those same new saves are corrupted. Im on firefox atm, but browser doesnt seem to matter.

sadly, iv gotten used to many many... many saves that have gotten corrupted on this site. But one type iv been wondering about for a long while now. This happens on several different games over a long stretch of time. - Ill make a new save. It saves. I load the save back up. It loads up just fine. BUT, if i close the browser then bring it back up and go right back to the same game and load that same file.. its corrupted and wont load. .. why? Its not even a minute of time in between the two load attempts. Nothings change about the game in that time. It feels like something happens when the browser closes maybe? Tho i dont see how closing the browser can corrupt save files. Why does that happen?

hmm... looks like i was slightly off. I actually did lose many games worth of save files when the game froze. I went through all of the games i have bookmarked. Some still had there saves, but many were all gone. Im not sure how a freeze up caused that, but it did somehow. - Worse is that many of the games that lost there saves would not accept imports. I have export file form before the freeze as well as export files after i finish every single game that i save. And to many games wouldnt accept the imports at all. So i lost a crap ton of work/time with this. - On a similar note, some games, when i used the import function, would only import a few of the saves for that game and the rest of the files imported were for completely different games. A couple even imported 100% of file form different games. Again, im not sure what is going on.. but this is what happened...

You can manipulate data within DevTools, or just save them by clicking EXPORT button on the same page, store them on computer just in case.

When the next time your game saves will disappear, you can open the same page and IMPORT all data from file in order to restore saves.

I dont know what to make of this one. I loaded up the page for seven realms. Loaded my save file. Was proceeding for a minute or two when the game suddenly froze. It unfroze a little bit later. Browser closed and reopened. Went back to seven realms. All save files gone. 0.o - Just for that game. Other games still seem to be there.
I have no idea what could have caused all the save files for a single game to disappear much less do that while laving others intact. Not even sure there is anything to say in response to it, but i figured id mention it.

But multiple games will not load up any more. It gets to the starting renpy laoding screen and starts to dl.

So far today iv seen this on Artimis, Intertwined, and War tribe academy.

I went to a different hosting sight to try several of the games that have been continuously having save files corruptions on this site. I played through, fully, Dropout saga, hillside, the assistant, and Single again. All four worked perfectly fine without any issues at all. No save file corruption at all. Not once.
This would suggest that the issue was not me or the game itself. If it had been then issues would have shown up on both tries. And by process of elimination im back to thinking that there is an issue somewhere with this site itself. I suggest someone look into it deeper.

Tired of making a new thread for each game i see this happening to. To im going to try to condense it all to this thread.

Iv had several games that constantly have corrupted save files. It doesnt matter if its been a week or more or even less then 24h. Many times i will save it and when i come back the following day, all corrupted. Even if i do multiple save files, which i always do.  The vast majority get corrupted. It even happens on gamecore browser. Some times its multiple pages of corrupted saves. Obviously this makes games unplayable and thus is a big problem.

The slit of games seems to be growing that this happens with. Tho also worth noting, still a minority. As i have over 60 games bookmarks that iv played (finished or waiting on updates). And iv only seen this so far on maybe 5-10 games? Im starting to lsoe track of them all. So im making a single thread to list them all.

worst in this case since its mostly looks like a visual novel type, i only made one save file. So the whole thing is lost..  I have no idea what causes this but its seriously irritating..

it takes some time, but it eventually loads up for me. However, every single save file of mine, (5 pages worth) ALL load up in error and he game automatically goes back to the start new game screen. Been like this for many months sadly.

it looks like it helped some, but it still happens. At least not as much tho. Making enough different save files and one can eventually get through the game.

certain artemis files havnt been loading correctly for months now. Its really annoying. There i no point in playing a gave is the save file is corrupted the next day.
Attached a vid showing me trying to load up files that i saved, new, just last night. Less then 24h later they all show up as incompatible. Tho theyve been doing the same thing for months. If you hit ignore, it just starts the game anew. If you rol back, you get another incompatible window. Hit rollback again and it just crashes out. (Tho it doesnt show it until you exit full screen).

they are all doing the same thing basically. All issues with save files not loading late. Sometimes, even minutes later. Its been on multiple games now. I tried multiple browsers.

yea, when the issue showed up on firefox, i installsed the gamcore browser, but it does it there as well

I posted about this on a different game a little while back. Same thing is happening on 30 days now. I make a save on the game. Come back the next day and the saves dont work. I just get an error message. This ia happening on firefox and gamcore browser. And now on multiple games.

never know just how many files wont work at any given time. Made four new save files last night. Sadly, today is one of the worst. All four wont load. Had to go back 5 files to get one that worked.

Ignore take you to w/e screen you were on or a new game.
Rollback just makes it say 'bye'

not much to see. I (for example) load save file #10 and i get the error in that pic. Load #9 and get that error. Load #8 ge that error. Load # 7 and it works! Load #6 and error... so on and so on.  Happen with old save files, happens with new save files.

my new memories has been having issues with save files for many months now. Maybe longer. Half the save files simply stop working and just show an error. You cant ignore or rollback them. Some times it happens with in minutes of creating a new save file. - Iv been having to create a lot of new save files. In hope that one of them will work the next day. And i can actually load something back up. Usually most are failures, but so far iv been able to get one to work... either way, something is quite wrong. Others have mentioned saved issues in the comments there as well.

Its not a temporary issue or an isolated incident. Its been doing this off and on for a long time. And if you look through the comments of photo huny many players have had the same issue. =- I cant speak for other games, as this one is the only one iv seen it on recently.

this does happen. I see it a lot on photo hunt. It take a while to load up when you click on the game. But many times it will load forever and then just say 'bye'.  Sometimes it will load up, sometimes it wont.

once again, after the last up date, the game freezes on the first teleport scene.  Seems like some version of this happens every time. And it only happens on this site. Other sites with the same game work just fine..  and judging by all the comments, this is happening for most everyone on this site..

This game gets errors every time you try to load ANY save file... been this way for many months now.

since the last update, EVERY image now 'cant be found' and is just a black screen.

1. The act 2 game works perfectly fine on other sites. Its only this site that seems to have this issue.

2. All the save file issues are across all games on this site. Not just one.

that does nothing. It goes straight from the load selection screen to the error. An it does it on many different saves files across many different games on this site. If you click ignore, it just starts the game from the beginning. So we cant use any save files we make. Thus its pointless to start any game on here at all... It really needs fixed.

this seems to be happening across several games iv tried. Ill play for a while, make a few saves. Come back later or the next day and suddenly the saves no longer work. I thought it might just be one game, but it kept happening on all of them. Its really getting annoying. There is basically no point in playing any game on this site now since the saves will be gone the next day.


and while your at it, ataegina act 2 has been broke for almost a year now.. crashing in game constantly, crashing on loading and saving.. etc
