a way to no what was update would be nice. My list of incomplete games on here is long. Its very tiresome goign through every single one to manually check if they have any new content or not.

add altered destiny to that list. Once again, the import function looks like its working, it just doesnt bring the save files into the game.

this game has been broken for quite a while now. Theres a scene where the mc uses a computer to contact another char through chat. But when you do that, the game goes into an error that can not be ignored or bypassed. Basically killing the game.

add tales of the unending void 3 to that list. It cant recognize the saves from season 2. And the game wont start up without them. So we literally cant access the game. - Another person mentioned it as well in the games comment section.

im not sure what im supposed to do there?
it mentions using .txt files to import but there are no txt files when you use export saves.

That aside, when using the normal import feature on a game it operates normally, visually speaking. Even get the pop up 'import successful' like it normally does. (And export still works.) I could be wrong but it feels more like a compatibility issue or perhaps its not finding the specific save files.
And its odd that its happening to many different games all at once. (Add projekt passion s3 to that list.)

On 'tribulations of a mage' , where saves wernt importing, someone posted the following

The save format changed between 0.46 and 0.47 so importing old saves does not work. If you want to fix your saves: * Export the saves from an old version * Unzip the .zip * Move all the files into a folder named "TribulationsofaMage" * Zip up the new TribulationsofaMage folder * Import that zip file into 0.47 or above

That actually worked. I have no idea how or why, but it worked. And i was able to import and continue the story. Could something similar be happening with more/other games?

unfortunately, the file save transfer from first season to second doesnt work.

Is there an issue with importing saves now? Iv had several game that i came back to, to see if they had been updated, and my saves were gone. I always export my saves when im done. So i imported the saves for the games but they seem to not be working.
Tribulations of a mage, projekt passion season 3, A house in the rift... none of of the imports work on them.
Note: someone in the comments of tribulations of a mage figured out a way to get around it for that specific game. But thats only one game.

It looks like Lust Academy season 2 page actually has season 4 on it instead of season 2. So its the wrong game on that page. It needs changed over to the right one.

actually, it looks like its a different problem then i thought. Tho one that might easier for you guys to fix. It looks like Lust Academy season 2 page actually has season 4 on it instead of season 2. So its the wrong game on that page. It needs changed over to the right one.

That explains why it mentioned important season 3 save to it (since its season 4). And the patch notes read for season 4. And a few other ppl mentioned it was season 4 in the comments.

So hopefully you can get that changed over to the actual season 2 part of the game. Then hopefully we can all continue it.

close.. it looks likes its on ep 15 now. But all the save files were gone. And the export of them i made at the end of ep 14 do not work. I import them. The game screens says 'save imported successfully'. But the saves dont show up. Even if you refresh the page, they are still gone.
There is a comment in the replies on that game page form someone else saying the same thing as well.

i was inclined to agree with your agreeing with me. But then i through a slight wrench into my thought.

My laptop: The game (and thus the browser tab) seems to freeze up if i select 'continue' or 'load' from the main screen. - (This happens on two different browsers as well.)

NOTE: It freeze up when i click the 'load option' just to go to the saves. So its before i actually select a specific save.
Note 2: I was playing this game for several days consecutively before the day this issue happened. The gamcore page for this game says it was last updated 2-3 months ago. If that is accurate, then there shouldnt have been a change. So i have no idea....

PC 1: I tried the game on a pc and every time i tried to load the game, it wouldnt load and i got this message. Every time.



(Unrelated side note: I get that message on several specific games on this site, on my laptop. I dont know what it is or means. But it has killed a few games for me. Even ones i was playing for a while then suddenly started getting that same error message.)


Pc2: After two comps had two different results (tho both leading to being unable to play) i found a third pc to test it on. And for some reason the game seemed to work on that one. No error message. No freezing up. I dont have long term saves on that pc to test, but a save a few slides in still worked when i loaded it up.

I have no idea. And getting 3 different results makes it that much more bazaar. The only thing i can say is the result on each system is consistent every time i try it. But i have no idea what i going on or what is causing this all of a sudden. - For the record i also have no idea what you guys could say/do about it either... i just figured id ask/mention it. There is not rly anyone else to ask about it.

I honestly have no idea what exactly the issue is... but im having an issue.
I was playing 'shards of her' for the last week. Everything seemed to be going fine. Then one night i go to the page its on, try to load up my save game, and it semi freezes up.

'Semi' meaning that the tab that is open becomes unresponsive. I get the bar that 'something is slowing down the web page. Do you want to stop it?' Of course if you click stop, then the game part shuts down. If you dont, it stays unresponsive.  You cant do anything else on that tab. Cant leave the page or anything either. You must close the tab to proceed. Its very odd...

I dont know why that suddenly started. I tried it on two different browsers. It did the same thing on both. I tried loading it up on a different computer just to see, but the game wouldnt load anything at all. So it couldnt even get as far as i do on this pc.

I have no idea what the issue is. Not sure if its the game, the site, my comp...

I was making a video of it, but youtube removed it for nudity/sexual content. Most likely those damn flashing porn ad's on the sides of the game. (They rly are annoying anyway.)

But i did notice that this happens if i click 'continue' which essentially continues from the last save. It happens if i try to actually click 'load'. (It freeze up upon clicking load, even before clicking the save file.) But it does let me start a new game which is odd. BUT if i right click while in a new game and try to load up form there... its back to freezing again.

i was finally able to get past that scene today. It appears it was the last slide of that game. And the next chapter is a different game. Sadly the feature to transfer the save/choices from 1st chapter to 2ns does not seem to work at all. But i dont think thats anything this site can do about. I assume thats on the creatures.

Please look at the screenshot, there are 15 part of the game on the site, not 14.

Then there is another issue somewhere.
When i load up that game on this site it says ep 14. It says 14 on the main page when you load up. And it says 14 on the 'about' spot you screen shotted. And there is no new content from when i finished ep14 a while back.
There is also a comment or two on that games page of other ppl saying the same thing.

Not sure why yours says 15. But it appears to say 14 for the rest of us.

But the title is listed as chapter 15; creating a false impression of an update, or simply being wrong. Not sure if the title is wrong or there is an update for chap 15. But one of them is off

Just a quick suggestion. Projekt passion on this site is listed as 'Projekt: passion [v0.7]
Very much makes its sound like its a game being updated. Reaching the end of the playable content could leave ppl thinking its over and waiting on updates. But thats the end of that game. Its actually Projekt Passion [season 1]. And that part looks finished. There is a separate game listing for Projekt passion [season 2].
I would recommend changing the name/title on the webpage over to Projekt: passion - season 1. That way ppl wont mistake this.

Looks like Lust academy game has an error mid play that you can not get past and can not ignore. Its unpassable which makes the game unplayable.

Another oddity.. similar to the last one..

Some games, certain saves always disappear. Why?

'On My Way Home' has had this happen a few times. 'Somewhere I belong' it happens quite often. Ill be playing, make some saves near the end of the version. But every time i come back to check if the game was updated, those saves are gone. And i have to go back to a previous save and redo a portion of the game. But even if i make new saves again, they are still gone next time. Just disappeared. But only those specific few save files. The previous ones are still there. And the game usually hasnt been updated during this.

Actually, i cant be a whole lot more specific. Its so random. It might happen with a number of different games. But it can happen with one game, then a bit later, it doesnt happen any more. And vice vcera.

This time i was playing STWA: Unbroken. The last two save files are always corrupted after closing browser. I have to load up a previous save. play it again, make new saves, every single time. But if i save a new file and then load it back up then it works fine. But as soon as the browser closes and i reopen, those same new saves are corrupted. Im on firefox atm, but browser doesnt seem to matter.

sadly, iv gotten used to many many... many saves that have gotten corrupted on this site. But one type iv been wondering about for a long while now. This happens on several different games over a long stretch of time. - Ill make a new save. It saves. I load the save back up. It loads up just fine. BUT, if i close the browser then bring it back up and go right back to the same game and load that same file.. its corrupted and wont load. .. why? Its not even a minute of time in between the two load attempts. Nothings change about the game in that time. It feels like something happens when the browser closes maybe? Tho i dont see how closing the browser can corrupt save files. Why does that happen?

hmm... looks like i was slightly off. I actually did lose many games worth of save files when the game froze. I went through all of the games i have bookmarked. Some still had there saves, but many were all gone. Im not sure how a freeze up caused that, but it did somehow. - Worse is that many of the games that lost there saves would not accept imports. I have export file form before the freeze as well as export files after i finish every single game that i save. And to many games wouldnt accept the imports at all. So i lost a crap ton of work/time with this. - On a similar note, some games, when i used the import function, would only import a few of the saves for that game and the rest of the files imported were for completely different games. A couple even imported 100% of file form different games. Again, im not sure what is going on.. but this is what happened...

You can manipulate data within DevTools, or just save them by clicking EXPORT button on the same page, store them on computer just in case.

When the next time your game saves will disappear, you can open the same page and IMPORT all data from file in order to restore saves.

import doesnt work on that game for some reason. I tried none the less. But alas, it didnt work.

I dont know what to make of this one. I loaded up the page for seven realms. Loaded my save file. Was proceeding for a minute or two when the game suddenly froze. It unfroze a little bit later. Browser closed and reopened. Went back to seven realms. All save files gone. 0.o - Just for that game. Other games still seem to be there.
I have no idea what could have caused all the save files for a single game to disappear much less do that while laving others intact. Not even sure there is anything to say in response to it, but i figured id mention it.

Yet another one. Companion of Darkness. Started last night. Had 8 different saves. Today, every single one is corrupted. (same way as all the others i mentioned.) Cant load up a single one. Only option is to start fully over. - There are many comments on the page about saves not working correctly as well. So its not just me.

1am next day, and it seems to be working again.

Not sure what this one is about. As if i dont see enough issues around here...
But multiple games will not load up any more. It gets to the starting renpy laoding screen and starts to dl.
After starting to download the game it just says

So far today iv seen this on Artimis, Intertwined, and War tribe academy.

I went to a different hosting sight to try several of the games that have been continuously having save files corruptions on this site. I played through, fully, Dropout saga, hillside, the assistant, and Single again. All four worked perfectly fine without any issues at all. No save file corruption at all. Not once.
This would suggest that the issue was not me or the game itself. If it had been then issues would have shown up on both tries. And by process of elimination im back to thinking that there is an issue somewhere with this site itself. I suggest someone look into it deeper.

Tired of making a new thread for each game i see this happening to. To im going to try to condense it all to this thread.

Iv had several games that constantly have corrupted save files. It doesnt matter if its been a week or more or even less then 24h. Many times i will save it and when i come back the following day, all corrupted. Even if i do multiple save files, which i always do.  The vast majority get corrupted. It even happens on gamecore browser. Some times its multiple pages of corrupted saves. Obviously this makes games unplayable and thus is a big problem.

The slit of games seems to be growing that this happens with. Tho also worth noting, still a minority. As i have over 60 games bookmarks that iv played (finished or waiting on updates). And iv only seen this so far on maybe 5-10 games? Im starting to lsoe track of them all. So im making a single thread to list them all.

worst in this case since its mostly looks like a visual novel type, i only made one save file. So the whole thing is lost..  I have no idea what causes this but its seriously irritating..

it takes some time, but it eventually loads up for me. However, every single save file of mine, (5 pages worth) ALL load up in error and he game automatically goes back to the start new game screen. Been like this for many months sadly.

it looks like it helped some, but it still happens. At least not as much tho. Making enough different save files and one can eventually get through the game.

certain artemis files havnt been loading correctly for months now. Its really annoying. There i no point in playing a gave is the save file is corrupted the next day.
Attached a vid showing me trying to load up files that i saved, new, just last night. Less then 24h later they all show up as incompatible. Tho theyve been doing the same thing for months. If you hit ignore, it just starts the game anew. If you rol back, you get another incompatible window. Hit rollback again and it just crashes out. (Tho it doesnt show it until you exit full screen).

they are all doing the same thing basically. All issues with save files not loading late. Sometimes, even minutes later. Its been on multiple games now. I tried multiple browsers.

I posted about this on a different game a little while back. Same thing is happening on 30 days now. I make a save on the game. Come back the next day and the saves dont work. I just get an error message. This ia happening on firefox and gamcore browser. And now on multiple games.

never know just how many files wont work at any given time. Made four new save files last night. Sadly, today is one of the worst. All four wont load. Had to go back 5 files to get one that worked.

not much to see. I (for example) load save file #10 and i get the error in that pic. Load #9 and get that error. Load #8 ge that error. Load # 7 and it works! Load #6 and error... so on and so on.  Happen with old save files, happens with new save files.

my new memories has been having issues with save files for many months now. Maybe longer. Half the save files simply stop working and just show an error. You cant ignore or rollback them. Some times it happens with in minutes of creating a new save file. - Iv been having to create a lot of new save files. In hope that one of them will work the next day. And i can actually load something back up. Usually most are failures, but so far iv been able to get one to work... either way, something is quite wrong. Others have mentioned saved issues in the comments there as well.

Its not a temporary issue or an isolated incident. Its been doing this off and on for a long time. And if you look through the comments of photo huny many players have had the same issue. =- I cant speak for other games, as this one is the only one iv seen it on recently.

this does happen. I see it a lot on photo hunt. It take a while to load up when you click on the game. But many times it will load forever and then just say 'bye'.  Sometimes it will load up, sometimes it wont.

once again, after the last up date, the game freezes on the first teleport scene.  Seems like some version of this happens every time. And it only happens on this site. Other sites with the same game work just fine..  and judging by all the comments, this is happening for most everyone on this site..

1. The act 2 game works perfectly fine on other sites. Its only this site that seems to have this issue.

that does nothing. It goes straight from the load selection screen to the error. An it does it on many different saves files across many different games on this site. If you click ignore, it just starts the game from the beginning. So we cant use any save files we make. Thus its pointless to start any game on here at all... It really needs fixed.
