Gamcore / Second Skin [Ch. 1] [v0.1.3]
Overview
A story-driven visual novel about Alex, a guy whose life quietly comes apart and
rebuilds itself around choices most games won't let you make. Two paths run the
whole way through: a dominant/straight route and a submissive/kink-leaning route
that leans into crossdressing and feminization, and you decide which one Alex
follows, scene by scene. Nothing is forced either direction.

Built from scratch in Angular, not Twine/Ren'Py, so the systems underneath
(stats, energy, day/night cycle, jobs, a real economy, wardrobe) actually run
as a game, not just a text-choice tree with images.

What's in Chapter 1
  • A full playable chapter start to finish, main cast with their own arcs
  • Two branching stat paths (masculinity/femininity) that change how scenes play out
  • A day/night cycle, jobs and money, energy management
  • A wardrobe + crossdressing system with gated tiers
  • Save/load, achievements, a scene gallery
  • A small amount of premium content (~4-5% of total content) for supporters — skipping it never breaks the story

Current version: v0.1.3
Bug-fix patch, most of it from player reports: several stuck story events fixed
(Brooke, Tyler, Rosario, a school load crash, Marcus's night schedule), a Mall/
stash crash and a stash-capacity bug fixed, a new adjustable Text Size setting,
and Linux support added alongside Windows.

I'm a solo dev building this in whatever hours are left after a full-time job.
Bug reports and feedback are genuinely what's driving development right now —
tell me what breaks and what you want to see more of.
