Over the last few months, I bought a backup hard drive and wound up DLing most of all the games I played on Gamcore in the last year which turned out to be around 300 or so.

However, Where The Heart Is was the one I could not due to not even being able to get past the buggy menu even after downloading it. This was one of my favorites and what drew me to the site originally. I'd like to play it again but it seems just as messed up on the site as the version you can download off of it.

it's not a game in particular but all the games at the time I could put in full screen on the website (on pc) but with the browser I have the impression that it is not possible thank you anyway

Unless things have gotten worse (which wouldn't surprise me at all) you should be able to do it by doing what I do.......

Before you play the game, Shrink the window of the browser. Then there should be a tan and orange window that says FULL SCREEN. Hit on that and your good.

Honestly though, You are better off just DLing the game like I do. You'll never have any problems that way with bugs.

I use Lewd Games, They have most of what Gamcore has and the downloads are all free. Best part is even if you delete the game to make room for more it actually saves your game. Tell me how it goes, I doubt you will have any more problems with it from now on.

They have Genesis Order there along with many others. Biggest selection I can find or at least where you don't have to pay.

I PLAY it on the Browser

I know this isn't what you are going to want to hear but stop playing games on there. I had about 50 games going on there and can't save or load a single one since August.

Same goes for bugs in games. Something is messed up with the Gamcore browser, I tried all the buggy games I was playing by downloading them to my laptop and they all work perfectly fine. Try it and I doubt you will have the same problem even though it will suck having to star all over again.

Usually the ones I like the most are left incomplete. I think this one is kind of new but I really love The Builder so far. Good gameplay, solid animation, well designed characters, different choices, decent plot, and okay soundtrack.

I haven't tried this one yet but it looks like a solid game. I just added it to my favorites. Thanks for updating it, Nothing worse than abandoned games that are left unfinished.

When i play Genesis Order. At 25&% ingame played.  When my Charater and Hanna are going into the cave. Then the Explosives are goin off. And my Char moves around, and just stand behind the Right pillars? And the game freeze? it have been this way for some months. And i see new stuff get oploaded in the game? What is wrong?

Are you playing it through the browser, on Gamecore, or did you DL it?

I am in agreement with Bjorn. All Ren'Py games with saved games from before August work in the Gamcore Browser, those created after August (except for recent saves in October and November) do not work. The saved games are present but they are not accessible. An example of one that works in the Gamcore Browser is Bright Lord [v 0.7c] which erroneously has the title on the top of the browser as Bright Lord [v 0.6b]. I have ones from May that still work. Every game that has a saved game after that date does not work and I am not going to replay all those games again and save over the cloaked saves.

I also have another suggestion when is the last time the Ren'Py online player that you use on the site been updated? If it has not been updated in a long time and there is an update, please update it. That might also fix some of these bugs. Thanks.

Have you tried DLing other games to your computer and saving/uploading?

Delete the game when you are done and then re-DL it and your saves should be there.

I love Gamcore because it lets me test out new games for free but I no longer play games there anymore because what's the point if you can't save your data? Some of them are like real games that take weeks or months to finish and cannot be done in hours or a day.

My laptop was full so I deleted old files to DL games which save and upload perfectly fine (even after I delete the games) which I cannot do on the Gamcore site or browser for some reason.

So I cleared out my laptop and made some space to DL a few of my favorites I used to play daily on the Gamcore app......

I then deleted said games and then re-downloaded them. To my surprise ALL of my save data was there in spite of the fact I cleared out my browser history.

So yeah, That pretty much sums it up right there. I will still use Gamcore to scout new games out but there really is no point at all in using it daily like I used to if the ability to save/load games is completely gone.

I know I can't be the only one here who feels the same way. Fixing this should be the top priority if you want to continue to garner traffic.

Odd considering 99.9 percent of these games erase soon as you close them out but not this one.

I'm hoping that it's finally fixed and Ren'py games start loading again.

I'm not sure what's going on but none of the methods I outlined a month or two ago are working now. Everything erases soon as you close out the app. Not even the quick time ones work anymore.

Nothing seems to working on there atm. I am not sure what's going on. I never seen things this bad before.

Decent game but as per usual after putting in two hours into it, It crashed and I can no longer recover my save data.

In gamecore application it is showing the version is updated in regards manila_shaw_blackmails_obsession v0.34 , but inside the game the version is still v0.33. in gamcore site we can get the update but in gamcore application we can not get the updated version ! please fix it.

Thanks for bringing this up. I noticed that most updates are not really updates at all. I'm not sure why that is.

I am on my tablet way more than than my PC yet can never get the games to work through the browser or site.

when game developers want to leave their credits/emails, they usually do this inside of the game.

okay, let's start with the theory:

Each browser, for example Google Chrome saves each game progress locally within its internal files (these are NOT cookies)
In order to see these files, please open this page:

1. Press F12 in order to open Google Chrome Developer Tools (DevTools)
2. Click Application in top menu of DevTools
3. Open Storage/Local Storage/site - https://fgn.cdn.serverable.com/ (in this case)
4. See All the games data there, e.g. saves, configuration settings

You can manipulate data within DevTools, or just save them by clicking EXPORT button on the same page, store them on computer just in case.

When the next time your game saves will disappear, you can open the same page and IMPORT all data from file in order to restore saves.

Unfortunately I play the games through your Gamcore browser as are all of my save states. I tried via Chrome and other browsers but the games wouldn't even play at all.

I will give this a shot anyway though. I been having trouble with the newest games so I can try again to play through Chrome and then save them via this method.

Yes, of course we ask them to solve this problem when we have a chance.
On top of that, it is developer benefit to read all comments and solve user problems in the first place.

Oh no. If you read the comments in most of the game sections, This has been going on since the summer at least. Most people have no idea how to get their data back.

It's clearly still there except for some reason you usually can't access it. Only explanation why it's there some days and some days not.

You need to find a way to make it unhidden or rather let the authors know so that they can fix it because it's driving a lot of people away. Most games on Gamcore can't be completed in a day so there's not much point in playing if you can't come back to your game.

Gamcore is hosting different games from different authors.
We do not produce games ourselves, therefore we cannot answer why some game have glitches and some not.

Can you ask them? Or at least the ones that are habitual offenders. I can give you the names of the ones that are the most frustrating.

It's not just one or two authors but pretty much all of them.

It's the next best thing to being able to play the game itself and what I would do before I discovered Gamcore. Where someone plays through an entire game broken into multiple videos. I usually have to resort to this with the few games I haven't been able to recover.

My favorites are the ones who stay silent throughout the whole thing but unfortunately most of them have highly irritating voices and feel the need to read everything onscreen at all times.

Any good ones out there who have done any for games you played on Gamcore?

I prefer ones who don't talk at all that cover the whole game though if they do talk, I would prefer an attractive female voice narrating it. So many of them have ones that are harsh on the ears.

It takes me about 5-6 tries but I can recover MOST of my Ren'py game data but this isn't the case at all with RPG Maker ones.

Unlike Ren'py, They don't show up at all anywhere and keep asking me to start a new game rather than let me continue even though I had 50 save states.

The weird thing is unlike most games on Gamcore, The title screen loads really fast as in under a minute on RPGmaker games.

Most of them suck but I'd really like to recover my save states for Lily Of The Valley again.

There is a new update for Live To Fight which is a favorite of mine. As I said before, I found a way to recover save states and my data was still there

BUT

I cannot load it because no matter which one I clicked on, It takes me to the white error screen.

For any developers listening out there......

1) Appealing Character designs. Not TOO realistic but not TOO cartoony either.

2) Smooth animation. Unfortunately for whatever reason, This usually causes the games to glitch but it's worth sitting through when it doesn't.

3) Easy interface. I play plenty of non-erotic games and don't need a massive one that takes as much time as a MMORPG, At the same time I do like some variety in gameplay but I don't want to be solving a billion puzzles just to move on with the story

4) Replay value. Namely alternate paths that make going through it again worth it.

5) Frequent updates. And not just saying it's updated and not like a lot of new games uploaded do

6) Decent soundtrack. Honestly, Most are pretty awful but occasionally they will find a nice groove

7) Many save spots. I play multiple games at one time and I like the option of jumping in any time when I feel the need to play it

Good storyline. I don't want to read through a novel like a lot of games on the site these days but at the very least there shouldn't be any Engrish, typos, or grammatical errors.

9) Decent dialogue. Sexy but not too porny.

I think most would agree on these yet it's so difficult to find any games that fit 1 or 2 of this criteria let alone half.

It is very difficult to control offenders, they always can create a new account with new email address and continue doing what they are doing.
Anyway, let's start the list here.

From a personal perspective, I think every single Games Of Passion and text based ones are complete and utter garbage. I guess some people like those but I honestly don't get the appeal of them at all. They are both dated and not in a good way.

As far as developers, I will go through my list. I have many favorites I have yet to remove that let me down. Not all of them seem to have credits so probably just the companies.

The major problem with this site other than the lack of saving as of late is all the defective, bug filled, and broken games that give the Gamcore a bad reputation which is far higher now than when I first started playing.

There are many repeat offenders that should be penalized that should not be allowed to upload their material or at the very least have to meet stringent requirements and pay a fee to keep the site going.

I read the comment section of every game I played and a common complaint is getting pissed off that a game is unfinished due to the developers testing the waters.

I think dividing the games into complete and incomplete games would be a great idea. That way everyone knows what they are getting into since some of these games can take up a considerable amount of time. Especially if you play multiple ones piecemeal like I do.

Documenting this so people know which ones are possible to recover.....

You should be able to recover your save data from these games. Give it to 2-3 tries in a row of restarting the game and your bound to have some luck. Feel free to share any games here that you lost data on and were able to recover.

As in the last 3-4 weeks?

I'm able to recover the save data of almost every game I played BUT the most recent ones from the last month. Curious if anyone here has found a way around it yet?

Not sure if it's just me or the new games are incapable of saving.

Seems to work fine if I keep it in a small window but once I enlarge it disappears.

Only exception to the rule is if there is a fullscreen option in preferences.

The few new games I tried in the last month are the ones that did not seem to save even though it said they did at the time whereas all my old ones occasionally come back with a lot of patience.

I don't know what happened in the month of August that caused this to happen but it appears saving is no longer option and I can no longer recover any of the data from those games.

Interesting, I cannot make new saves with the old games whose save data I recently recovered.

But you have to be really patient which sucks if you don't have all day to play and can only sneak in a few minutes here and there.

I just got Where The Heart Is to work by opening and re-opening the game several times and leaving the screen open for 10-15 minutes. Usually I do this when working on something else such as spamming this forum with posts.

For some reason though this does not seem to work on many of the new games.

New as in after August of this year which is when things started going really wrong with the site.

They are honestly all pretty stupid but they work about "about 50 percent of the time"......

1) Restart your computer

2) Close the browser then restart it

I just discovered this one which inspired the thread......

3) Leave the game on for a few minutes in the save state and magically they will reappear or at least it did on The Adventurous Couple

I can't give you any explanation as to why these sometimes work for certain games but occasionally they do and it's the best wave right now.

Oh yeah, This one is kind of a big one. Don't put it in fullscreen until AFTER you see if the saves are still there. I don't know why but opening it in fullscreen usually blocks the data from showing up which sucks as it's how I prefer to play my games.

If you get the "Cannot Save Games" bug then it's not going to work and your better off leaving and trying one of the three steps above.

If you are successful like I was today in recovering my data DON'T close the browser out if you want to check on your other games because that usually means the rest will be up long as you keep it open

Interesting quirk, My PC doesn't go to screensaver when I have the browser open.

There are people going around in the comment section spreading lies that if you delete your browser history then your save data will vanish. I did this 5-6 times months ago and never had a problem with it. I haven't done it since February at least but never had any problems with saving till about a month ago.

The track record of them preventing confirmed spam bots is about less than TWA's track record of stopping confirmed bombers. It's purpose is cosmetic only and a major nuisance when leaving comments.

Trying to re-open Live to Fight and it just constantly repeats the music in the same loop all frozen whenever I try to open my save states.

I just posted all my save states returned for Live To Fight and now they are gone once again after closing the browser out. :/

What is causing this? It seems like everyone I know who visits the site has similar horror stories. I don't mean vanishing save states which is now common but ones that reappear for no reason at random.

Not sure what this is all about but whenever I have trouble loading a game through the browser, I just try to play through a generic one which works better occasionally.

I really hate how inconsistent all the errors are in the games. It's sort of like trying to play a game in an area prone to rolling blackouts. You never really know what you are going to get.

In here and the comment section, People think they have gone away but I think they are just not visible anymore for whatever reason. I have had mine disappear for months on Point Of No Return, Foot Of The Mountain and Live To Fight only to reappear weeks later for no logical reason.

I used to solve this problem by restarting my computer or closing out the browser but it seems more persistant now save for one or two games.

"Games Like This" Especially with so many defective games full of bugs that can't save on there.

As I said in 12 other threads, The Point Of No Return works okayish for me. I still have all my saves but can't make new ones and I'd like to play more from the dev seeing as how nothing else seems to be worth playing at the moment because your status erases soon as you close the browser.

This almost always happens with games with animation but they st-st-st-st-stutter in dialogue/animation for a few minutes before either closing out or looping until it finally works.

It's gotten to the point where I almost avoid any games with motion in it.

I love seeing a favorite game I started ages ago finally getting an update only to find NOTHING new has been added and it still ends at the exact same point I left off.

What's this all about?

I'd say it happens about 75 percent of the time now. Even if it's one new scene, I'm just happy anything new is added when I see an update posted to a game.

For example, In Point Of No Return no matter what route you take it always ends on the last sex scene with the Mom and Daughter EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS IT WAS JUST UPDATED!!!!

It's like buying a director's cut of a film you already owned except there is no new footage.

In the comment section, I noticed that I am able to double like comments I liked ages ago.

I'm totally fine with you guys shutting this place down a few months including this forum long as you get all the issues you need to get looked at. It seems like there is something new coming apart everytime I visit.

Anyone else playing it? All my saves from months are perfectly intact yet completely missing in literally every other single game I was playing.

Are the makers just that much more competent from the other devs on the site? More Gamcore app bugs? A fluke?

EDIT: Though all my old save states are there, I cannot make new ones for some reason.

Also all my save states are intact for Live To Fight for some reason. Which doesn't make any sense as I started that one ages ago whereas The Point Of No Return is fairly new.

It would be very helpful to add a "date added" to each game on the gamcore homepage.

Agreed but I just go by memory.

It really doesn't matter since a good 95 percent of the updates or at least the ones I play regularly have approximately zero new content in spite of them saying they were updated.

Hello, i have the same problem, i even tried using the Gamcore broswer, firefox, google Chrome, Opera and Opera Gx and naturally Microsoft Edge and on all these browsers i get this error except for Gamcore browser but that Browser in exchange lags and hangs is stuck on the games for a few minutes repeatedly so it isnt an option to play either.

Im looking through the Internet for about 2 Hours now but i cant find a Solution...

Please help me somehow, cause i really love Gamcore

It's the gamcore app. I started using it when RenPy stopped working in Chrome.

I had to use it because it stopped working in general now the app is going bonkers.

Been happening for a while and don't know if it's me or something else. Erased a few of my saves since it can't "hold the memory"?

Yeah, This is when the BS started happening. I just restarted my computer and it worked okay for a few weeks or so. No idea why it worked.

Since my question was ignored here, I thought I might try a new approach.

Is there a way to save new games without them falling prey to the recent rash of mass deletions or at the very least access my old ones somewhere?

A simple explanation or a plan on how you are going to fix this serious issue would go a long way.

After weeks of my save states vanishing from Point Of No Return, They miracuously reappear leading me to believe they don't really go away at all but are hidden somewhere.

Yet I just tried Pandora's Box 2 and everything is gone.

I would really like some straight answers on this one. I'm afraid to play anymore games because I put some serious time into the longer ones and don't want to oversave on save states I cannot see.

The games are no longer running slow for me like they were earlier this month which has never happened since I DLed the app and I haven't done anything to my computer. I'd be okay with that if my save states start returning. I would like to know where they are stashed away so I can access them.

Yet Culture Shock takes 10 minutes to start up. I will stop starting new topics on this if someone can just explain what the eff has been going on for the last month or so.

In spite of that warning, I been saving games for months which worked just fine then a month or two ago they would vanish only to reappear when I turned my computer off.

It's very hard to support this site if at all anymore if you can no longer save games because what's the point of even playing them considering most cannot be beaten in a day. I'd say about half the games on the site I played have some sort of bugs as well that make them unplayable or crash about half-way through.

So much housekeeping is needed here including this forum where a lot of questions I need to know the answer to have gone unanswered for months.

EDIT: The Point Of No Return is back to normal as in all my save states are there again. I hope it's like this for my other games and the last time this happens. I thought they were gone for good this time.

I have the windows gamcore browser and it used to work but as of recent it hasn't been working, I've tried many different games and nothing has changes. The problem is that when I load into any game it says Error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot Read Property 'entries' of undifined (see Javascript console for details)

I'm not sure what they did to it but it works far crappier for me now too. Much longer loading times, my save data is completely gone from every game I ever played, and sometimes won't even work.

EDIT: The Point Of No Return has all my save states back. No idea where they went or why but much thanks to whoever fixed it. If not, I hope the glitch is temporary.

I discovered the problem on august 03
I wanted to continue The Genesis Order, which I played about 1 week sooner.
Then, I checked Treasure of Nadia (same type of game), then Curvy Cougars Street (other type).
I thought it was some kind of server bug, so I waited, but nothing came back

I played on https://porngameshub.com/f-i-l-f on july 19... did it create a conflict? (cant remember if last time I played Genesis was before or after that...)

I don't know where are the savefiles saved, so I don't know what to do to check or restore...

Happened to me too as my post says above. I'm done with this site forever if they can't resolve this and I was really enjoying it up til then and sharing the link with a lot of my friends.

Some game have the same "internal filenames" for saves, therefore if you play two such games, they overwrite the saves of each other.

Could you please name the games you were playing recently, and the most important, where saves have gone?

I am playing about 50-100 games on/off and never ever had any trouble with save data until a month or two ago.

My save points would vanish completely. I'd turn off my computer or restart then they would be back for no explicable reason. None! Nothing I looked for gave me any answers which is the sole reason I joined this place.

Imagine my surprise when ALL of my game data was deleted today.

What's the point of playing any games on this bug ridden site if you can't save them? Especially many of them are RPG's that you can put weeks, months, and years into?

I'm pretty pissed off and would just like some basic non-BS answers about this.
