Not sure where to post this or if this is even the right place but after the update, I've just now been able to play but my imported saves all cause a fatal error!
Thanks for the report! Unfortunately, imported saves may not always be compatible after an update, which can cause fatal errors. Hopefully this will be improved in a future version.
