When I leave the inn after the first night in there (first night being the Lilili grinding scene), the game crashes.
So far, I have tried:
- Logging in and out again
- Clearing my cache
- Using a private window
- Using a private window with Tor
- Every difficulty
- Every EXP multiplier
- Staying an extra night in the inn and choosing every option one run at a time
- Choosing either character in the "who do you want to take care of your needs" choice in front of the house
- Gone with/without the "Preemptive Cheat" aka "Cheat Cheat" Item
- Editing/not editing the protagonist name
- Waiting 10 minutes between moving to the door and exiting even though everything usually loads within 5/- seconds and the error message isn't a loading one or the one that comes up when you advance a scene before the art gets to render (usually "cannot read width = 0". To be double clear, I did not get that).
- Interacting/Not interacting with the crystal outside the house
- Interacting/Not interacting with the sign in the forest
- Having 0g so I can sleep at home instead (doesn't adavnce the story so pointless)
I am on Brave Browser. I have tried both shields on and shields off.
The error occurs specifically as follows:
I exit the inn. A cutscene thingy starts where Mae and Lilili start talking about the Abandoned Mine. Mae suddenly says "Whoa...!". I advance the dialogue and the error pops up:

This is a killing error, so I can't get past this point. Please help, I really want to play this one.

While I did note that the last time this game was updated on Gamcore matches the "Thread Updated" date on the forum, there seems to be a universal consensus over there that the update fixed the issue. If it isn't on the latest version on gamcore, make it so, please, and if it is, kindly reinstall it anyway.

Also, at gamcore.com/games/menasphere_of_inverted_dreams, which is where I've been playing it, the "Last Updated" date still matches what it was before my forum post, 4 July 2025. I am unaware if this is significant: it could be a manual entry to match the date from the source, but it looks to me that the update didn't push properly.
