Demon Deals importing issue

I am incapable of exporting and importing my old Demon Deals save file. Any chance of fixing this? The .txt file just has "{}" and doesn't work at all.
I have tried using https://gamcore.com/help/saves but it still doesn't transfer my save from the previous version to the current recent version.
